Part time HR Specialist – Flexible Hours

Vancouver, WA

Core Commissions is seeking part-time HR help including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, payroll and benefits.

Hours will vary week to week depending on open positions we are recruiting for and other HR tasks going on at the time. Hours will vary from 5-20 hours a week. This might be a great fit for someone doing contract HR work.

You will need to come to our office in downtown Vancouver, WA for training, and then periodically for any onboarding or employee-related discussions, but the majority of the work can be done remotely. MUST BE LOCAL TO THE PORTLAND OR/VANCOUVER WA AREA.

Duties Include:

Create and post recruiting ads, conduct interviews and pre-employment screenings, process offer letters.

Plan and conduct onboarding, employee orientation and training.

Update company handbook as needed.

Complete and manage employment agreements and personnel files.

Manage benefit administration including insurance enrollments.

Manage vacation requests and payroll changes through Gusto.

Experience Needed:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred.

2+ years of Human Resources experience.

Excellent interviewing skills.

Knowledge of employment laws and benefit plans helpful.

Experience using Gusto helpful.
